Privacy Policy

In one sentence

Zeus Mobile keeps all your data on your own device. We do not collect, upload, store, or share anything on our servers.

What Zeus stores on your device

To give you a personal assistant that remembers context, Zeus stores the following locally on your phone only:

  • Your conversations with Zeus (last 90 days, rolling — older data is automatically deleted)
  • Names and preferences you teach Zeus (e.g., "call my wife Mirela", preferred messaging app)
  • Count of apps you launch through Zeus (so Zeus can suggest the right one next time)
  • Detected language(s) you speak (so Zeus replies in your language)

All of the above is stored in the phone's secure application storage (AsyncStorage) and is accessible only to the Zeus Mobile app on that device.

What Zeus does NOT do

  • ❌ No cloud upload. Nothing leaves your device.
  • ❌ No account required. We do not collect email, name, phone number, or any identifier.
  • ❌ No tracking. No analytics SDKs, no ad networks, no crash reporting to third parties.
  • ❌ No selling of data. We have no data to sell, because we do not collect data.
  • ❌ No profile sharing. Your Zeus is yours. Other users' Zeus instances never see your data.

Online AI option (opt-in only)

Zeus Mobile works fully offline by default using its own on-device AI brain — no internet, no cloud, no account.

If — and only if — you explicitly enable the optional Online Mode in Settings, Zeus will send the current prompt you type to an optional third-party AI service to get a faster response. When Online Mode is enabled:

  • Only your current message is sent (not your conversation history, not your preferences, not your contacts).
  • The third-party provider sees only an anonymous API request.
  • You can disable Online Mode at any time in Settings → Privacy.
  • Offline Mode (on-device brain) remains available as the default.

Permissions Zeus asks for, and why

  • Contacts — so Zeus can call or message a contact by name. Data stays on device.
  • Phone / Call — so Zeus can actually place the call when you say "call Mom".
  • SMS — to read unread messages if you ask "read my messages", and to open the SMS composer. Zeus never sends an SMS without your explicit confirmation.
  • Microphone — for voice input. Audio is processed on-device by speech recognition; audio is not saved.
  • Notifications — to read aloud or summarize incoming notifications, if you ask.
  • Accessibility Service — required for Zeus to actually control other apps (open WhatsApp, type, etc.). Zeus uses this power only to perform what you explicitly ask.

Your control

Open Settings → Privacy at any time to:

  • 🗑️ Delete all your data (conversations, preferences, app usage, language history) with one tap.
  • 🔁 Reset Zeus to a factory state.
  • 🌐 Toggle Online Mode on/off.

If you uninstall Zeus Mobile, all stored data is removed automatically by Android.

Children

Zeus Mobile is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly address content to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will:

  1. Update the date at the top of this page.
  2. Show a notice in the app on the next launch.
  3. Require you to accept the new terms before continuing.

We will never change the core principle: your data stays on your device.
